Cam at the trunker treat at the school after the parade.
The family halloween party. Joel hated that he had to dress up.
The hay ride was actually very bumpy and we were glad it only lasted a few minutes.

Well we needed a break this weekend so we decided to have a quiet getaway. Not so much with out the kids, but time to be together without any interuptions or a time schedule to go by. I got us a room at the hotel in Lehi, buy Thanksgiving pointe. I have never really been there when they have had big events going on, but it was alot of fun. I think the kids loved it. So after the parade at school and trunker treat we called it good and got out of there. After spending all day walking around we decided to go to the movie. Well the only movie there kid friendly was HSM3, so yes we saw it AGAIN! Me and the kids were glad to see it again. Joel, not so much. He got over it. We spent well deserved time in the pool and decided we definately need a hot tub. We came home well rested and glad to have the break from everything, everyone and reality for a few days.

Well the twins finally arrived last weekend. Well when most people think of "twins" they think babies, blonde's or boobies. Well not when you mention it around Hunter. Joel has trained him, "It means, More Power." And after a few sleepless nights for Joel and Brian they were in. And with a miner unexpected, $800 repair of replacing the heater core he was ready to run. And now even just running to the grocery store we have to punch it and hit 120mph at least once on our journey. Joel is definitely happy and ready to put it to the test. As for me. . . whatever makes him happy. And I have been told that this is the last of enhancements on the truck. We'll see how long that lasts.
As for me I have been intrigued with the books by Stephanie Meyer. I am half way through the second(which is kinda dragging) and can't wait to move on to the next. I'm told the 4Th is the best. My goal is to have all of them done by Nov.22. When the movie Twilight comes out. It is kinda weird a girl in love with a Vampire. But I'm hooked. I honestly havent read a book that thick since I can't remember. Course I'm not actually reading it. I bought the CD. I don't think I would reach my goal if I had to actually read it. I spend alot of time in the car and figured the CD way was the best. It drives Joel and the kids crazy to listen to it though. I now find myself actually driving the speed limit just to hear more. If you haven't read or listened to it I recommend it. Course I think I'm probly one of the last one's that hasn't finished them all yet.

There are a few technical difficulties with the video that happened during the down load. Keep watching the best part is at the very end. Watch Dexter on the right hand side. He can hang on with the big boys when it comes to tubing but towards the end he decided to spread his wings, REALLY. We enjoy hours of entertainment on this thing.

It took Joels uncle Brock 3 times and he finally got it. I thought he was down and he pulled it off right at the end. Wow!

Me and the kids just got back from spending a week at our house in Idaho. Poor Joel was stuck working. He was able to get away for the weekends though. We spent the 4Th of July with my parents, my sister Alli and Drew. We had a big water fight and then went for the annual BBQ and fireworks at my grandma J's. The 4Th is kinda a anniversary for Joel and I. 10 years since we reconnected or actually started dating, that's a whole nother blog on its own. I love the 4Th of July. We woke up early Saturday morning with my parents and our friend TG and headed to Idaho and the Lake. Where I surfed for the first time with out the rope, It was awesome. It was a short trip for the rest of them and they headed home Sunday afternoon. The kids and I stayed and got the house cleaned, pulled weeds, and planted some flowers. Okay, so maybe that's what I did. The kids played with cousins, rode their bikes, played with Coltons puppies and went to the park. Joel came back up on Thursday and we hit the lake again on Saturday. It's not summer with out going to the lake every Saturday, Right!? We weren't that excited but we headed home on Sunday. Its funny the second we hit Ogden that stress factor was back in to place. Strange how when I'm at home in Utah I always have ten million things to do around the house and such. But when I'm at home in Idaho all those things don't matter. I think that's why we like it there so much. You might be thinking that's because you don't actually live there. But seriously the whole town has that demeanor. It's just slower paced there. Aah! Until next time.

I don't even know where to begin. We are finally done with the kitchen remodel. Joel says never again, but I bet it does before our life time is over. I love the way it turned out. You know how you have all these ideas of what you think it will turn out like but there is always that doubt in your mind. It definately gave it the feel I was hopeing for. Now I just got the painting to finish. And the rate I'm going it will be done this time next year. Ha Ha. I hope not. I wish I could calm the things going on in my head long enough to share things about me. My sister in law Kinzy always writes the coolest blogs. I love reading what she has to say.
I hate being so busy all the time. It seems like even we we can go be with friends no one else can hang out, or wants to hang out. I feel like we told everyone we were so busy all the time that now we have no friends. And I know they have lives to but I feel that I haven't even seen my sister or brother since I don't remeber. We used to see my brother or talk to him everyday when he worked with us. He and joel have been really close the past few years. And now nothing. I feel bad that even at night when we are home with the kids all we do is have to go to the store or end up doing work from home. And I wonder if they get to do all the fun things that kids what to do. Or if I give them the attention that they need. I was laying in bed trying to get hunter to sleep last night and realized that I hadn't "really" kissed Joel that day. Besides the, "Bye have a good day", half asleep one that he gives me in the morning when he leaves. I wish one of these weekends we could stay in our pj's all day, watch movies, play games, color( I like coloring to kinzy), put a puzzle together. I haven't done that since before I had kids. I loved puzzles. And not worry about laundry or the phone or even the dirty dishes in the sink. But who knows if that will ever happen.
I have a saying in our computer room that says "Never become to busy making a living that you forget to make a life" and I'm affraid I gotten to busy to even read it lately.
I'm sorry to those of you that have been pushed oway by us being so wrapped up in work and making a living that we forgot what was really important to us, Our friends and family.

Well things have been very crazy but I thought I would take a few to let you know how things were. Well I am finally getting the kitchen redone. So that's were all our time has gone to. I guess all the nagging finally paid off. And of course I have to paint now too. It will look like a new house I'm so excited. We just got back from spending a week at our house in Idaho. And we dread coming back everytime. We went to Joel's cousins baptism, which got cam excited for hers. They both went up close to watch at the font. And of course Hunter being alittle nervous with going under the water says, " Iz not gettin baptized." So yeah we are signing up for swimming lessons SOON to get over that fear. We were able to get some yard work done and take the boat for a spin. I am so glad the weather is finally turning warmer. I hate the cold. We are so ready for the camping and boating season to come.

Well he finally got it. I think he was a little unsure when he picked which boat and I got to pick design , colors, and layout. And for weeks he went crazy only seeing it on a computer screen. Its awsome and we love it. And now he can't stop looking at it. He sat in it all evening and just listened to the radio and checked it out. I think I caught him smiling for no reason too. I'm excited too. Not to the extent that I want to jump on the lake and freeze my butt off excited though. I'm mostly excited to not have him frustrated all summer and trying to figure out how to make it better like he was with our old one. We have lots of lake trips already planned. First one is Yuba Lake for Memorial weekend. So please give us warm sun. :)

Well I'm new at this and we had some technical difficulties and we pretty much had to start all over. Yeah, I feel dumb. We have been very busy lately. Joel's brother got married in May, My brother got married in August, and My sister got married in January. Needless to say we are glad to have that over with. They are all very happy and we love seeing them whenever we get the chance. Now hopefully I can get some more nieces and nephews. "Hint Hint" :) Just kidding. Enjoy your time together before you have to worry about homework, doctor's appts, dance lessons, and a different kid in your house every time you turn around. Work is a headache as usual for anyone and we often wonder if self employment is really worth it sometimes. But in the end the benefits are definitely rewarding. Joel and I got to go to the Virgin Island with our supply group in January. We loved spending time with each other. It was great to be focused on each other and remind us of why we fell in love with each other. I wouldn't trade him for anything. We also purchased a home in Idaho in January and have loved spending time up there every chance we get. It is such a change of pace up there. The kids love all the room they have to explore in the yard and the freedom they have to go to the park, which is right across the street. There is a lake 30 minutes from the house and we look forward to going there a lot this summer as our new boat arrives tomorrow. Joel's like a little kid at Christmas. He is so excited for his new toy. Now if we could just get the weather to act like it's spring again. :)
